Technology Stage

Gruyere identified that the level of preventive maintenance quality – from the perspective of completing inspections with appropriate defect identification and creation of subsequent notifications could be improved on site. The primary mechanism for this improvement was through direct coaching of frontline maintenance teams, focused on the following activities:

  • Defect identification and completion of PM task instruction sheets
  • Creation of notifications arising from inspections
  • Preparation of work scopes
  • Frontline Transformation - create effective teams who are committed to working as one team with a culture of proactive maintenance and mutual accountability.
  • Supervisor fundamental training - designed to help new, experienced, or aspiring supervisors and maintenance leaders build the fundamental knowledge and skills they need to effectively discharge their accountabilities and responsibilities.
