FAQ

Who should join Mainstream Network?

If your role is in Asset Management, Maintenance or Reliability, you qualify to join our MAINSTREAM Network – a dedicated online space to learn from each other, express your thoughts, share ideas, collaborate, add value to each other, and connect.

What does membership cost?

100% free for individual members.

Are there any rules?

Be respectful and kind - you are going to link up with old friends and make a bunch of new ones in the MAINSTREAM Network. Treat everyone as you would a great friend. We all know how powerful words are – choose your words wisely, and with kindness.

This is not a recruiting or marketing platform - please use common sense when communicating or helping to solve someone’s maintenance or reliability challenge, be it a technical, process or people problem.

Is there a code of conduct?

Our community is made up of members, not users. We are lifelong learners. We value a growth mindset. We are deep thinkers and big celebrators. We seek to understand before seeking to be understood. We welcome differing perspectives and opinions. We love to have our minds changed. We listen with intentionality. We challenge our own opinions, assumptions, judgements, and even long-held beliefs.  We amplify diverse voice and thought. We protect this space so we can keep it safe for everyone in our community. We are kind. We are curious. We ask questions, and we do not jump to conclusions. We put people first and we assume the best.

How do I give feedback?

Reach out to us with feedback.  We LOVE to receive feedback. It’s our mission to build a platform and a community that adds incredible value to you. Don’t hesitate to reach out to ideas@mainstreamcommunity.com or send any of the MAINSTREAM team a DM letting us know how you feel, what we can improve, or raising any technical issues so that we can squash the bugs.

Report anything that violates our MAINSTREAM Community Guidelines. This is the ‘If you see something, say something’ principle. You can report any violations by sending an email to the Mainstream Community or by clicking on 'Report a Problem' on any piece of content.
