As Asset Management & Maintenance practitioners we understand that reactive is a part of our world, but does it have to be such a big part? I say it shouldn’t be, and it doesn’t have to be!

Some aspects of reactive maintenance such as breakdowns or the absence of planned maintenance are obvious but there are numerous hidden reactive events, behaviors and practices that impact operations and maintenance daily. In this presentation we call them out and look at how they impact us and what we can do about it. This will be an interactive presentation where audience participation will be an important feature. I will also share some of our recent experiences.

Whilst we can’t eliminate the reactive world, we can reduce it and react to it more effectively.
