We are familiar with various lubricant failure modes which exist but how often do we take the time to really dive into how these failures occurred. In this session, we will do a deep dive into the oxidation failure mode, how it is caused, ways of identifying its presence and some of the real root causes behind this mechanism. We go beyond just identifying the failure mode but developing some measures (physical, human and systematic) which can be implemented to prevent its occurrence in the future.
