The STEM skills shortage is costing the UK economy approximately £1.5bn every year and is expected to grow. There is an urgent need to attract, recruit and retain a larger and more diverse STEM talent pool to meet the needs of our community and to ensure innovation can thrive.

In this session Alex will discuss how award winning STEMAZING was set up to raise the STEM awareness and aspirations of young people. Hear how our non-profit initiatives are not only inspiring the next generation but also empowering our current STEM workforce with improved communication skills, confidence and purpose through social value.

Over the last 5 years since our inception we have led over 200,000 STEM engagements with young children led by diverse STEM role models that we train to maximise their effectiveness.
