Even after shutdown scope is frozen, late work, missing parts and incomplete preparation can put pressure on a window that isn’t getting any longer. Something has to give, and crews often finish the event knowing exactly which work packs, job durations and preparations need to change. The difficulty is getting that knowledge back into the system before the next shutdown. Sixteen to eighteen weeks later, the same problems can return with a different crew, while late time confirmations leave planners without a reliable picture of what the previous event took. This panel looks at how to carry those lessons forward. We’ll discuss scope control, mobilisation, material readiness and what brings experienced crews back. How do we capture what they learned, assign responsibility for changes and make sure those changes reach the next work pack in time?
