Transgrid is the manager and operator of high voltage transmission services in NSW, the ACT and Victoria.

Our assets are managed to minimise the inherent risk they present to our workers and the general public. To manage these safety, reliability and bushfire risks, we have implemented a ‘network’ safety management system that is complementary to our ISO 55001 Asset Management System and ISO 45001 health and safety management system.

This has required careful alignment of these systems, along with processes to integrate major new assets, and a program of management awareness and communication to ensure effectiveness as the network grows through the energy transition.
